2021 — The New Normal

As we are stepping into a New Year, I assume that the majority is prepared for this year since 2020 was the hardest/toughest year in our lives. Many have made the abrupt shift to working from home; millions have lost jobs, some of us had to say goodbye to our loved ones even without a proper funeral. The future looks uncertain. We don’t know when, or if, our societies might return to normal — or what kind of scars the pandemic will leave. How is Covid-19 reshaping our world — potentially, forever?

We all know that work will never be the same, even if we don’t yet know all the ways in which it will be different, we can predict that some areas in our day-to-day life will have drastic changes (which we never thought of) from 2021.

Businesses & Work life

Now that the world is familiar with video communications, the way businesses and individuals communicate and connect will be forever changed. Healthcare, education, finance and businesses large and small are growing and improving with the help of video communications. This year alone, hundreds of thousands of small business owners —doctors, language, fitness and music instructors, therapists, accountants and others — maintained and even grew businesses using video to connect with customers.
